Jan 13, 2023 - The Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF) released the 2022 State of the Industry Report for the Healthcare Foodservice and Senior Living Industries. In 2022, the Healthcare Foodservice and Senior Living Industries have faced continued challenges as we have moved from a “locked down” to a “life with COVID” era. To better understand the current trends and challenges, the Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF) conducted a nationwide survey for the second consecutive year. Healthcare foodservice and senior living operators from both self-operated and contract managed programs from around the country completed the survey in July 2022. While the 2021 survey and report focused solely on acute care, the 2022 survey and report have expanded the scope to include the senior living foodservice segment.
