AHF Announces Ralph Goldbeck as 2021 Making A Difference Award Winner

Ralph Goldbeck Honored as Leader in AHF and Self-Operated Foodservice Industry

Washington, D.C. – September 1, 2021 – The Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF) announced Ralph Goldbeck, Director of Kitchens to To Go by mobile modular as the winner of the 2021 Making A Difference Award for his steady leadership and dedication to AHF and its community of operators and vendors. The award was presented at the AHF 2021 Annual Conference at the Omni Dallas in Dallas, Texas. The AHF Making a Difference Award recipient is selected by the AHF Industry Advisory Board Chair and given in honor of John Cabot. It is the association’s top award for business and media partners.

"Ralph has spent countless hours working to create great partnerships between AHF’s operator members and business partners,” said AHF President Ryan Conklin, Director and Executive Chef of UNC REX Health. “His knowledge of the foodservice industry as a whole, has really both helped and encouraged our business partners and operator members to work more closely than ever.”

“I am deeply honored to have received the Making a Difference Award at conference this year,” said Ralph Goldbeck. “Unfortunately, I never had the chance to meet John Cabot, but to receive an award in his name and follow a long line of industry leaders whom I admire is very gratifying and I am thankful.”

Ralph Goldbeck is a Director at Kitchens To Go by mobile modular. Kitchens to Go by mobile modular is a manufacturer of custom vehicles and modular buildings for foodservice clients throughout the world. Ralph has a long history of volunteerism within the foodservice industry and is currently serving as the Past Chair of AHF’s Industry Advisory Board Chair. He has contributed many years to ensure the success of AHF, most recently helping to guide the Association through the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Ralph is also a licensed architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects.
