Scottsdale is a popular destination where you can bring your family along!

There are both indoor and outdoor activities that all ages can enjoy. AHF is pleased to offer area activities on Tuesday morning for attendees and their guests. You may register for these activities during your conference registration. All other activities will be available at your leisure. We encourage members to extend their stay and take advantage of all of Scottsdale’s offerings!

Cost/person: $50

Come enjoy the great outdoors with AHF in the Tonto National Forest. This 2 hour tubing excursion is a fun way to start the conference and stay cool. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own water shoes and sunscreen. Bring your family along! Children must be at least 8 years old or older and 4 feet tall. This area activity will cover tube rental, shuttle service, and round-trip transportation from the Westin hotel.

Private Culinary Scottsdale Lunch Tour 

Cost/person: $80

Join friends and colleagues for a 2-hour culinary excursion around Scottsdale. During the tour attendees will visit 3-4 restaurants around downtown Scottsdale. Each restaurants visit will include a taste of their signature dish. This is your chance to sample the local flavors of Scottsdale. This area activity will cover the tour and round-trip transportation from the Westin hotel. Gratuity for the tour guide is optional and at the discretion of the participant.

18 Hole Round of Golf at the Westin Resort

  • Special AHF rate of $59 plus tax for 18 holes - Originally $74 plus tax
  • Make reservations ahead of time by contacting the Golf Shop (Phone Number) and mentioning that you are an AHF Conference Attendee.
  • Earliest tee times are at 6:15 AM and are spread out 9 minutes apart.

The Scottsdale Wine Trail is comprised of: LDV Winery, Carlson Creek, Aridus Wine Company, and Salvatore Vineyards. Most of the tasting rooms open at 11 AM or 12 PM. Interested attendees will purchase a $5 Passport which allows $2 off a 5-wine tasting at each location.
