AHF Member Annemarie Vaupel Receives Top Business Partner Award
Vaupel Wins AHF Making a Difference Award
Arlington, VA – August 20, 2020 – The Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF) today announced that Annemarie Vaupel, Director of Marketing, Hormel Foods Corporation has won the AHF Making a Difference Award. The award was presented Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 3:30 pm ET at AHF’s 2020 Virtual Conference Award Ceremony. AHF’s annual awards program is a mechanism to identify and highlight members of the AHF community and self-operated foodservice industry for their achievements. It is a prestigious honor to receive an award.
Annemarie began her career at Hormel Foods in 2002 in the HR department and then moved into the Foodservice division of the company. Annemarie has served as a brand manager, national sales manager – Healthcare, Innovation Team lead and started her most current role as director of marketing in 2018. Throughout her accomplished career, she has served on many committees, as a conference co-chair and as a board member, including IAB Chair (Industry Advisory board) for AHF.
The Making a Difference Award is given annually to an AHF Business Partner member or Media members and given in honor of John Cabot and is the association’s top award for both business partners and media, and it is presented to someone who has made significant contributions to AHF in the tradition of selfless industry leadership. The award was presented by AHF Industry Advisory Board Chair, Ralph Goldbeck at AHF’s Virtual Conference. The Awards Ceremony was attended by industry professionals, including healthcare foodservice operators, business partners, family, friends, and colleagues of the awards winners.
In response to hearing she’d won the award, Annemarie said, “The only way one receives recognition like this is by being surrounded by a lot of great people. I can honestly say there are so many people whose names could be listed on this recognition alongside mine, because without those partnerships, I’m not sure I would have become or had the opportunity to demonstrate the leadership that I did within my time as a leader with AHF.”
