AHF Member Patti Oliver recognized as one of the 100 trailblazing women at UCLA Health

On August 26, 2020,  Patti Oliver was recognized as one of the 100 trailblazing women who are making a tremendous impact at UCLA Health. UCLA Health launched “100 in 100,” a celebration of Women’s Equality Day on the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution establishing women’s right to vote.  Congratulations to AHF past president and 2014 AHF Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Patti Oliver for her honorable recognition!

About Patti Oliver, MS, RD, MBA
Administrative Director of Nutrition at UCLA Health, overseeing Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica

During her 21-year career, Oliver has implemented numerous initiatives to improve nutritional quality and access, including the elimination of fried foods from the menu at the medical centers while increasing the use of locally grown or organic produce and beef and poultry raised without antibiotics. She is the 2017 Silver Plate Award winner from the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association, which recognizes excellence in food service operations in the health care industry, and she also earned the 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association for Healthcare Foodservice.
