I volunteer as the editor for Medical Nutrition Matters, the newsletter of the Dietitians in Medical Nutrition Therapy, a Dietetic Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics​. I volunteer as an Item writer for the registration exam for the Commission on Dietetic Registration. I serve as a board member for the Wayne County Indiana Food Council and for the Fayette County Indiana Head Start Program.
